When building a mini golf course, the question might be: How do you build a mini golf course that is challenging to golfers? Then, the teacher must explain what concept they will learn as they begin their projects. Students get time to research, gather information, create plans, design, and build their project. The teacher facilitates by asking guided questions to guide their thinking. Students would then present their projects with a thoughtful written presentation. It's important that a rubric is used to asses their learning and that students are able to reflect on what they should celebrate and what could be improved.
